We are a group of family and friends who are committed to raising high quality and nutrient dense foods that support health for our bodies and the land we steward. Over the past decade we have become increasingly passionate about knowing where our food comes from and about making informed decisions about the choices we make for our tables. In 2011, this led us to begin the adventure of operating Red Gate Ranch.
We raise pastured heritage pork, lamb, and grass finished beef as well as offer a Weekly Vegetable Box CSA which provides members a variety of vegetables and herbs from our market garden. Members receive weekly emails with recipes, regular promotions on pasture raised meats, and invitations to Member Appreciation events and harvest days. We attend a year round Farmers Market on Saturday mornings in Red Bluff, a seasonal market in Redding behind City Center on Saturdays, and our Farm Stand is open on Wednesdays from 1-6pm from May through October. Our Vegetable CSA is now available in two seasons. Winter (Jan-Apr) and Main (May-Nov) Pick-ups in Redding, Red Bluff and on the farm! Members not only receive promotions on our pasture raised meats, but they also receive priority reservations on whole shares of heritage pork, lamb, and grass fed and finished beef. Our bacon is cured without nitrites and sugar with a dry cured salt and thyme combination. Many of our sausages contain no sugar or allergens and are Paleo, Whole30, Keto Worthy.
