Our family has been purchasing our vegetables, eggs and meats almost exclusively from SLO farmers coop for the past five years. We are grateful for this local resource in providing such high quality great tasting clean food....from their awesome organic vegetables and eggs to there grass based meats raised on organic pastures! I purchase meat from SLO Farmers. The quality is very worth the extra money because the meat goes further. A pound of ground is all you need for a pot of chili because it is so lean. A chicken will get you three meals because you can use the bones to make really good soup My advice is to eat less meat, but get good quality meat. They have Farmers Best Home Delivery service which works well. The meat is frozen, so it can sit in a cooler until you get home to put it in the freezer.

SLO is a company (co-op) that truly believes in keeping it local. All the farmers that make up the co-op are in northeast Wisconsin. They provide such a wide range of products, including eggs, vegetables and meat (chicken, pork and beef). Last year in their seasonal CSA boxes, they offered so much more than just vegetables; some examples include lavender, pears, cranberries and herbs.
