If you want truly local meat, look no further than 5L Farms. When we went to the farm to pick up our order, we literally passed the cows (beefalo) grazing out on grassy pastures. We got burgers and steaks; they were the best thing we've eaten all year, and I cooked them, LOL. Salt of the earth people, where we picked up our order was on the farm, with big grain bins and tractors all around. It's a real farm, with real farmers. My kids loved looking at different farm vehicles. But, back to the meat, it was really good stuff. They have become my go-to red meat option for getting steaks, roasts, burgers, and bones for the dog to chew on. I simply cannot recommend them enough!
