Love the flowers, the organic veg and the plants. Local artisanship in full bloom, some of the cheese is sinful. Love seeing friends, people watching, and the sounds of shopping and soul.

A great way to support local agriculture and educate one and all . . . how food is grown, what is in season, where does it come from, meet the growers etc. Great for the local economy. Good for the heart & soul of our community.

The Rhinebeck Farmer's Market has enormous variety and wholesomeness. The sellers are friendly. The customers happy. One goes home feeling healthy and staying that way for week until the next organic hunting and gathering happens on the Sunday all the farmers show their harvest.

The Rhinebeck Farmers' Market brings together local farmers and community members, and sells the freshest food available. The community turns out en masse on Sundays to shop, have coffee, and chat with their neighors. The Rhinebeck Farmers Market is in the verdant Hudson River Valley, and it's proximity to nature and offering of locally grown food reminds everyone of the cycles of growth that keep us all alive. Because of this proximity to the great arc of natural cycles, the Rhinebeck Farmers' Market inspires community members to adopt more eco friendly habits.

The Rhinebeck Farmers' Market takes place in a small town in upstate New York and exemplifies how smaller regions can be part of the Big Revolution in slow food, shopping local and supporting small farms. While keeping over-industrialized food businesses at bay in bucolic regions, one still needs to have an economy! How clever of this area, our farmers and the town of Rhinebeck to see the virtue of agri-tourism to support not only our local farms, but by placing the farmers market right in the center of our cozy business district, helping our local merchants as well. Bravo Rhinebeck and all our farmers market participants who stand up instead of selling out.
