I was a member of this CSA and was disappointed in the amount of produce received weekly along with the pick up times. I paid $500 for my membership, which is a fair price, but you could purchase more organic produce at another vendor or store. As for the pick up times- people work and are not always available during the specified times- I'd suggest a varied schedule maybe having 2 days to make your pick-up. I would love to be a member of CSA but I tried this one and was not impressed, unfortunately.

This is a wonderful farm that provides much of the produce at our local Farmer's Market in Lakewood, Ohio and other markets as well.. It is operated by volunteers and such from Oberlin College with great leadership in organic and sustainable gardening practices. Not only are the vegetables excellent, it's worth visiting just to see the farm at work.

Wow! I am so surprised to read this review. The CSA cost was $600 last year and I found that there was a true abundance of fresh, non-pesticide filled great food. I helped coordinate the CSA as a volunteer and found the staff dedicated. Everything was fresh-picked and I made a big effort to include recipes each week to go along with the share. I'm sorry to hear your experience wasn't good. I just completed a survey of last year's group and your experience was not shared. Perhaps it will be better for you to shop differently (although you will be spending way more for the same quanity) but I am very proud of the Jones Farm CSA.
