The George Jones Farm and Nature Preserve in Oberlin, OH is dedicated to providing our community with chemical free, quality food, including a wide variety of vegetables, herbs, and cut flowers. The farm is a program of the New Agrarian Center, a non-profit organization committed to building a healthy, sustainable and equitable local food system in Northern Ohio. The Jones Farm creates learning and mentorship opportunities for aspiring farmers and an outdoor classroom for groups of all ages. By restoring wetland habitat, growing natural food, using natural, sustainable building materials, creating a healthy community space, and improving the soil with vermicompost, food-waste compost, and organic mulch, the Jones Farm hopes to be a model for sustainable land use and community food security. Come by and see what's growing! At The Oberlin Farmers Market: Saturdays from 9am-1pm Volunteer Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
