I've use to love going to Marietta Square the atmosphere was nice my only issue their price is to costly. I could buy organic produce at Sprout or Costco or at Whole food at better deal. Most venders don't label price. I will tried to stop by again since covid I haven't been back hopefully it's better. Thank you!

Please, please, please both carry and label what is organic. Please, please, please carry more healthy/non-sugar sweets. These items should be one of the purposes of fresh and local, i.e., HEALTHY!!

We really enjoy the location of this market and the friendly people, BUT we are avoiding non-organic produce (pesticides, genetically engineered seed, herbicides) for health reasons. The market would greatly benefit from the inclusion of local organic farmers. Otherwise, we have to drive all the way to the Morningside market or pay big bucks in the grocery stores.

Burns Best Farm is also a good option. They have great produce and we are buying from them every week.

Our farm, Turtle Bend Farm, sells Certified Naturally Grown produce at the Marietta Square Farmers Market. Last year was our first year selling there. We produce according to organic standards and will soon be certified Organic as well. We will return to Marietta Square this year and will be there opening day, April 2nd, to meet our customers and talk about our vegetable subscription program (CSA). We will begin to have vegetables by mid-April. Please contact us if you want to know more about our production practices, or please come by on April 2nd to discuss our farm and practices. Johnny Fulmer the organizer is as good as they get! He diligently lines up the vendors, checks with them weekly, makes personal visits to all of the booths, and gets a wide variety of farm goods, hand crafted items, and LEMONADE to die for! Thanks!

Lots of wonderful selections, including fresh breads, beautiful vegetables, homemade cookies, herbs, garden plants and fresh cut flowers. The venders are always friendly, and there is free and convenient parking nearby.

I love this time of the year because of all the wonderful fresh fruits and vegetables that are made available to us through local farmers.

Great place to be on Saturday. Grab a freshly made wheat bagel and coffee and chat with the local farmer's. Find out what's on the list for the next weeks harvest and plan your menu from there.

Eating local foods supports our farmers. Try eating at least one meal a week from the selection of local foods and decrease your carbon foot print!

I know it's the most efficient place to get produce in terms of fuel usage, and I know it's supporting my local economy, creating prosperity in real time.

I have seen this market grow from just a handful of boothes to 60 vendors with a waiting list for more. The fellowship and sense of community is wonderful every Saturday morning throughout the season. People sharing food and gardening ideas as well as learning about new products. Its a wonderful atmosphere.

It is close and has a lot of variety, I would love to see more "organic" products though. The prices are reasonable in most cases but everything seems very fresh. I hope to keep supporting them and I hope this works to keep them growing!

I just love being able to get up on a Saturday and go to the market on Marietta Square...there are fresh pastries there and places to get coffee as well, so you can have your breakfast while shopping around for veggies and fruits to help support our local growers...everyone's so friendly and it gives me that "old town" feeling I just love...

I like local organic produce that I can't grow in my own garden (I'm getting too much shade now); support local farmers; see what's new in the area

This will be our second season coming to the market and I can not wait for May 2nd to get here. The people are wonderful, the products are great, and the offering is abundant. We love the lemonade stand, the sweets, breads and veggies. My daughter loves all the sights and tastes, she is just excited to go as I am. Getting there early is always a good idea, but even later in the morning the offerings seem to be plentiful. This is a great local resource and we are counting down to Saturday. :D

Marietta Square Farmer's Market has come a long way since i began shopping there....from a few vendors to 40+, and it even outgrew it's little parking lot and moved up the street! I am also now a vendor at the market, and i still love to shop there and i love all the other vendors, i love the atmosphere... they are a great group of folks! Produce is great, plants are much better quality than storebought, great handmade soaps and products, herbs, teas, even FRESH SQUEEZED LEMONADE AND LIMADE!! So much more i don't have time to list it all! Ok I am ready to go....hurry up May 2!!!

We have been purchasers at the Marietta Farmer's Market for several years. There is nothing more that we look forward to each spring than coming down to the square in Marietta and buying from the vendors. We so much appreciate the stories of the growers as we ask questions about what we are buying from them- how much we learn each weekend from these awesome people. As a visual artist, I appreciate that growers are also very much artists- they love their media (the seeds and plants) and they love their finished product! Praise our God who gives us so much to share from His wonderful bounty! Should there ever be an unbeliever, we suggest a visit to our Marietta Farmer's Market in the spring- he or she will have a change of mind about their unbelief!
