Farmers Dirk and Bea are an admirable couple. When I say their meat is excellent in every way, it's because of the treatment and slaughter of their animals, as well as the quality and taste of the meat. They are kind and gentle with their pigs and take great care to raise them traditionally in family groupings. They are allowed to forage, never put in crates, no docking of their tails, or clipping of their teeth. And taking them to a local slaughter house only shortly before slaughter to keep their stress levels as low as possible. AND then there's the flavour and quality of the meat itself which is second to none. Their lean and juicy ham steaks are the best we've ever tasted. The bratwurst and bacon is also delicious. We are going to try their chicken next. If we are going to be meat eaters, then this is the way the animals should be treated. It's great to be able to support local people when you believe 100% in what they're doing.

We have been buying our chicken from Sloping Hill Farm for about 2 years. The other day I wanted some chicken and ended up at the supermarket. Never again!!! There is no comparison. Their eggs and pork are great as well.

I just want to give you one advice: please try the pork chops of Sloping Hill Farm! They're great material for the barbecue.

The owners of Sloping Hill Farm are 100% dedicated to the well-being of the animals they raise. This is the best guarantee for tasty and 'clean' meat.
