Riveredge Cattle Company has been a family run farm since the early 1930's. We are located in Northeast Ohio in Lorain County. Generation after generation, our family has placed a priority on raising quality Angus beef.

We do not use growth hormones, nor do we feed animal by-products to our cattle. In fact, all of their feed is grown right here on our farm! Our cattle receive routine vaccinations, attentive and quality veterinary care, however, we do not feed antibiotics routinely through their feed. All of the cattle are on pasture daily. The steers diets are also supplemented with corn and hay that has been grown and harvested on our farm. Additionally they are given vitamins and minerals to ensure proper health and growth. They are on full-time pasture during the spring, summer and fall. During the winter months they are in an enclosed barn with free choice in/out access to the pasture areas.

We go the extra mile when it comes to the care of our cattle. We do not do this to meet a growing trend for naturally raised beef. We do this because it's what we've always done. We do this because it's the right thing to do. We eat the meat we sell, and we seek the same things our consumers seek. A flavorful steak sizzling on the grill! At Riveredge Cattle Company, we feel that a properly cared for herd produces a top quality carcass.

Current pricing is $2.50/per pound plus processing. Now taking orders for October 2018-December 2018. We often do not have meat available April-June. Most of our meat this year has graded prime. To place orders or for more info please email. You may call, but response is faster over email.

For Fall 2018 there will be some availability of all natural freezer lamb. Our lambs are raised the same way as our cattle. They are pasture raised, and well cared for! They are Southdown lambs which are well known for quality of meat and natural marbling. Cost will be $3.50/lb on hanging weight (plus processing). Typically an entire lamb would be around 50-60 lbs for hanging weight.

Naturally raised Angus beef. Available as a quarter(appx 200lb)or a side. We typically sell out early, and availability varies through out the year. Contact us to be placed on the waiting list. Due to cancelled and unpaid orders - we request a $100.00 deposit to be placed on our waiting list. That money is applied to your order, and deducted from the balance due. An average side is approximately 400 pounds. An average quarter is approximately 200 pounds. Orders are currently being taken

The beef and lamb processing is custom per your order, and is picked up at our local processor which is Keller Meats. We will have meat available in July 2018-December 2018. Freezer Lamb and breeding ewe lambs will be available for Fall 2018.
