We are a small biointensive farm in North Idaho. Currently, we have grass-fed cattle and sheep, as well as pastured hogs and rabbits. We also have free range chickens, turkeys, and ducks. We purchased our farm from a repossessed auction and are working to repair and rebuild it. We offer portions of pastured hogs and cattle in the fall. Year-round we offer eggs. During the spring, we have chicks, ducklings, and poults for sale in addition to fertile hatching eggs. We will be offering tanned sheep and rabbit hides shortly. We also sell tallow soap, garlic, and other products depending upon the season. Our poultry are given constant access to land in order to forage bugs, worms, and grass. The sheep and cattle are rotated on our grass pastures and get a good portion of their diet from clover. The hogs and rabbits are moved across the pasture during the warm part of the year when there is good grass forage. We use no pesticides, herbicides, antibiotics (except for emergency treatment), or hormones. The grain that supplements our pig and bird feed is non-GMO grain grown by a local farmer. Hay supplementation during the winter for the sheep and cattle is also grown locally and not sprayed. We believe in building up the soil, providing healthy animal products to our customers, and providing a wonderful haven for our children to grow up in.
