Gerry & Janelle Shudde are retiring from the retail side of their business. However, we will keep providing people with our excellent heritage grass finished beef by partnering with PARKER CREEK RANCH! All our calves will go to Travis and Mandy Krause for finishing and marketing. And WE can still be proud of our great beef! We supply our customers by mail-order, at the Pearl Farmers Market in San Antonio, TX, and at the ranch by appointment. Our beef will still be naturally low fat and low cholesterol because it is from heritage breed Longhorn & Devon cross calves, very heart healthy. We use no hormones, antibiotics, or pesticides on our cattle. We are virtually organic, not certified. Travis's grass finishing program still calls for the calves to be fed on lush growing grasses rather than rangeland for at least the last 3 months, so you benefit from the healthful CLA's (cancer-fighting agent) and Omega 3 fatty acids.
