CSA: Skipper Farms

The Summer Season CSA will be June 16, 2018 - September 1, 2018. Our website at skipperfarms.com gives some samples of member shares. We are known throughout the area for our homegrown tomatoes,tree ripened peaches,awesome cantaloupes , freshest green beans , local sweet corn, sweet strawberries, crisp fresh apples (including many heirlooms), cider, grapes, kiwi fruit, broccoli,cabbage,kale,collards,sweet potatoes, carrots,beets,mesclun salad mix,spinach, lettuce, sprouts, mushrooms, pecans, peanuts, potatoes, watermelons, cucumbers, butternut, acorn, spaghetti squash, pumpkins, radishes, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, and more. . We are open all year until Christmas Eve. Our produce has been grown naturally,since we also eat what we grow. We avoid chemical sprays. We plant only non GMO seeds. Your share baskets of produce are harvested the day of delivery for freshness to provide satisfaction and quality. We welcome questions about home canning and freezing. Recipes are also available for the asking. A la Carte items are available both in bulk or serving sizes . We are proud of serving Chesapeake and Virginia Beach for over 30 seasons and satisfying so many wonderful customers.
