NOW Accepting new CSA members for our 2018 SUMMER CSA to start June 16, 2018.----Skipper Farms offers a full line of naturally grown local fresh fruits and vegetables in our markets. We are especially known for the best homegrown tomatoes and cantaloupes. Satisfaction is guaranteed. We also supply many other local area farm stands. We utilize non GMO seeds and use sustainable and natural farming practices. Our IPM (Integrated Pest Management) practices utilize organically approved products. We are extremely careful and picky about the fruits and vegetables that feed our family, as well as yours. We therefore avoid chemicals in order to protect our food supply and safeguard our families and participate in Good Agricultural Practices to monitor food safety on our farm. . As a member of one of our community supported agriculture partnerships (CSA), you will enjoy a wide variety of fresh fruits and tasty vegetables. Just pick up your share basket of our crops weekly during the season. We offer a steady supply of seasonally fresh apples, tree ripe peaches, luscious strawberries, heirloom tomatoes, cucumbers, fresh picked sweet corn, potatoes, yellow squash, zucchini, asparagus, pumpkins,sweet cantaloupes and watermelons, grapes, sweet potatoes, peppers, peas, beets, chard, lettuces, spinach, kale, broccoli, collards, cabbage, beans and much more from March through December. We pick daily in order to meet your highest satisfaction. Our produce is the freshest and require the members attention for prompt refrigeration to protect best quality and freshness.

Our locally grown fresh produce is picked to provide the best quality possible for your enjoyment. We only use non GMO seed, which we start ourselves in our own greenhouses, in order to ensure quality and safety of our plants. We farm utilizing old fashioned methods learned from our Amish friends. CSA members are now being accepted for our SPRING 2018 Season. This CSA starts March 23, 2018. Please enroll soon before its too late, in order to avoid being placed on our waiting list.

Schedule and Location:

Virginia Beach Farmers Market, 3640 Dam Neck Road, Virginia Beach, VA., Daily, Open at 10 AM until 6 PM except Sunday (11am to 5pm ) March through December. Also at our strawberry farm 1305 Kempsville Rd., Chesapeake. Also Saturday at Great Bridge City Market and Chesapeake City Park.
