Stormy Acre Farm

At Stormy Acre Farm, we raise Local Pasture and Forest raised Pork. Our hogs are raised and rotated on pasture and woodland In Suffolk Virginia in as close to natural settings as possible where they can roam free, lay in the sun, root , eat natural plants and acorns. We supplement feed with Local grains of wheat, rye, field peas and oats and occasionally our farm grown Reid's dent corn, sweet potato's , pumpkins, cucumbers and watermelons.

We have a limited supply of premium Heritage Breed Ossabaw Island hogs known to be loaded with omega 3 fatty acids and are high in unsaturated fat with oleic acid found in Olives. The fat is so unsaturated it literally melts at room temperature.

We also raise other breeds including Hereford/ Hampshire , Duroc/ Red wattle and Berkshire/ Ossabaw.
All of our hogs are raised without the use of antibiotics, steroids or added growth hormones.
