Tiny Seed Farm is an OEFFA certified organic vegetable and cut flower farm growing on the historic Kretschmann Family Organic Farm in Rochester, Pennsylvania — about 20 miles north of Pittsburgh. This land has been farmed organically for more than fifty years: Don and Becky Kretschmann started one of Pittsburgh's first CSA programs here in 1993, and Tiny Seed Farm now carries that tradition forward on the same preserved fields.

Our weekly CSA farm share serves greater Pittsburgh from June through November. The 18-week summer season offers a Small share ($32/week) and a Large family share ($42/week), weekly or biweekly, followed by a 6-week fall share. New for 2027: a Salad CSA at $15/week — two signature salad mixes plus a seasonal item, the easiest way to try a CSA. Members pick up at neighborhood stops across Pittsburgh — including Squirrel Hill, Lawrenceville, Mt. Lebanon, Sewickley, Fox Chapel, Highland Park, Oakmont, and Zelienople — or choose home delivery. No stop nearby? Gather 12–15 neighbors and we'll open one on your street.

Beyond vegetables, we grow cut flowers as Tiny Seed Fleurs, offering the only long-season flower subscription in Pittsburgh, and we're launching certified organic dahlia tubers shipped nationwide in 2027. CSA add-ons include local sourdough bread, award-winning Goat Rodeo cheese, Pittsburgh-roasted coffee, and gourmet mushrooms. You'll also find us in season at the Lawrenceville, Bloomfield, and Sewickley farmers markets, and our produce in some of Pittsburgh's best restaurant kitchens.
