Eastford Farm is a small family run farm in the northeast corner of Connecticut. Our land was last regularly farmed in the 1800's which means our animals graze on land that is free of pesticides and chemicals. We are dedicated to holistic land management and restoration and creating food that nourishes and heals our bodies. We will not use any food for our animals containing pesticides, soy, or GMO's. Our animals are fed a mixture of certified organic grains without soy. Our farming techniques are inspired by Polyface Farms (Joel Salatin) and PA Bowen Farmstead (Sally Fallon, Weston A. Price Foundation). All of our animals are out in the sun and fresh air, roaming pastures or woodlands. The result is a wonderfully delicious egg that has a dark yolk and is full-bodied as well as broilers, turkeys, pork, and lamb that have an unparalleled depth of flavor. This food has improved the health of our children and we are excited to share this treasure!
