CSA: Urban Greens

Everything is picked fresh daily! There are full pay and work shares available. We allow up to half the value of the share to be worked at our group work sessions. Starting in May is greens like spinach, kale, chard, arugula, lettuce, orach, mizuna, parsley, cilantro. Then in June the snap peas, broccoli, carrots, beets make an introduction. Early July bring zucchini and cucumbers and later in the month Tomatoes, peppers make a showing. Also in the summer are potatoes, onions, garlic, watermelon, apples, and corn (grown by affiliate farmers). The season ends with a return to greens, winter squash and sweet potatoes with summer tomatoes and peppers still hanging on usually until the end. With minimal land costs and overhead about 75% of the CSA money goes directly to our Garden Managers and their primary job is to feed you.
