Cedar Creek Farms of Lonsdale LLC

We are a husband and wife operation working towards our dream of providing our community with grass fed/ grain finished beef and chevon, eggs and seasonal goats milk. Please don't hesitate to email us with any questions you may have! You can find us on Facebook at "Cedar Creek Farms of Lonsdale LLC" and on our website cedarcreekfarmsar.com.

We sell whole, half and quarter beef at wholesale prices and USDA inspected individual packages at specific rates per pound based on the cut of meat. Please call us at 501-467-4452 to confirm pricing and place an order! Currently our wholesale price is $5.50 per pound of rail weight, with USDA inspection and processing included.

Rail weight is normally 55-60% of live weight.

We generally aim for our animals weighing 1000-1200 pounds live weight at butcher which would put whole rail weight *on average* at 660 lbs, half rail weight at 330 lbs, and quarter rail weight at 165 lbs. Keep in mind, these are average numbers: every animal is built a bit different and achieves proper finish at a marginally different size. That is the reason that each customer is charged based on hanging weight to make it fair across the board as opposed to a flat rate.

We normally have a butcher date or two set for each month so time from when you place an order to when it is ready depends on how many other families are on our waitlist. Please give us a call to get estimated pick up dates.

Two butcher dates set for the end of November and then the middle of January currently have some availability with them, but that could change at any point.

Some background information: Most all of our cattle/goats for processing are raised completely on our farm or purchased from other local farmers/friends to be finished here. We make our own hay without chemical herbicides or pesticides and that is what they are fed as their roughage. The grain that we feed is purchased from another local friend of ours who mills his own feed for his cattle. All beef that we raise has been ?on feed? for a minimum of 120 days. This helps build the flavor and gives our beef a wonderful, tender texture. We do not use any hormones and they are raised in as stress free of an environment as we can possibly provide. They even get treats thanks to Amanda?s desire to spoil every living critter.

Even though the whole process has to be profitable, we take pride in the fact that none of our animals are looked at simply as a number. They are all treated and cared for as if they were pets.

Once again, if you have any questions or want to place an order don?t hesitate to give us a call at 501-467-4452 (Amanda) or 870-681-0035 (Jordan).

Thank you for your interest. We look forward to speaking with you and helping you feed your family healthy, nutrient dense beef!
