We sustainably raise homegrown chicken, Berkshire hogs, and heritage turkeys. We work with a friend to also provide home raised Suffolk lamb. Meat can be purchased by full or half animal. We also offer an incredible omnivore CSA option. Our philosophy on raising animals for consumption or companionship includes the following fundamental beliefs. We ensure that all of our animals have: Lots of space to roam, grass to eat, and sun on their backs. Good, quality food in their stomachs sourced as locally as possible. A lifestyle that keeps them happy; we can tell this by their calm demeanor and our contentment as we watch them graze, roll in the mud, or pick for bugs in the earth. A surrounding natural environment that flourishes under sustainable management. Children that play nearby who understand the work, sacrifice, and meaning of the plate of food that sits before them on the kitchen table. Our Omnivore CSA provides each member with a box of delicious homegrown food once (half share) or twice (full share) a month, for six months: October through March.
