CRAVING LOCAL SEACOAST
We are the Seacoast Growers Association of New England and are on a mission to bring you the best local food and arts 4 days a week. For decades, we've delivered the farmers' markets you know and love, while representing and exploring the communities around our region's food and craft culture.
Whether you're passionate about health or want a resonating experience for your family, be involved and learn about the stories in your area. We welcome you to your farmers' markets and invite you to indulge in the tastiest treats our region has to offer. Say hello to your farmer and taste a fresh carrot or a farm raised meatball, I ensure you'll be smiling when you leave here.
We encourage you to ask questions so you may pass along the teachings of more innovating ways of eating and connecting and to create a dish so good you'll make it again and again. I crave my trips to the market because I get to experience new foods, say hello to my friends, buy exactly what I'm looking for and relish in local handmade arts and crafts that remind me of inspiration every day. Shopping the farmers market first is the difference between supporting local vs. industrial and it's all in a one-stop shop, produced within York, Strafford and Rockingham County.
We have made shopping at the farmers market easier with use of credit cards and SNAP tokens. We offer live virtual maps so you can see exactly where your organic chicken breasts, goat milk soap and farm fresh yogurt stands are. Hear about the featured vegetables of the month, recipes, tips and activities all on our weekly newsletter. Also, follow us on Facebook and Instagram @seacoastgrowers. We look forward to seeing you!

Because it's one of the oldest markets anywhere, been running every Saturday May-Oct rain or shine for nearly 30 years I think. Visiting there is a weekly ritual that reunites me with friends and keeps me in touch with the changing seasons in Northern New England...from rhubarb to apples and squash.... [more]
The produce, meats and baked goods represent the best of the best. The farmers/vendors are knowledgeable and friendly. The live music is fab ... and my kids ask to go every week! What more can you ask for?
Portsmouth Farmers' Market brings together the most vendors in my area, and the vendors offer more than just veggies (meats, baked goods, fruits in season, pottery, goat's milk soaps, wool yarn, and other agricultural products).... [more]
