Recently finished enough of the web site to publish it. We're still working on it and getting the farm fully restored and operational, we are doing everything we can to save and take over a family farm of over 100 years in Athens county Ohio. We are focusing on saving critically endangered heritage breeds of cattle, chickens, pigs, turkey and eventually goats and sheep through eco-friendly and sustainable organic grass fed and pastured methods. We still have yet to decide as to whether or not we will bother to become "certified". As we understand from talking to people who are and are not certified, it is an expensive bureaucratic process, and much of the time, the standard which we have set for ourselves in our practices appears to exceed the requirements for certification.
