We are a student run sustainable farm located on Texas A&M campus. We farm with minmal pesticides amd fertilizers (no synthetic fertilizers). We farm with the intent to research our ability to provide fresh local produce to the local TAMU community, mostly consisting of students and faculty of the university.

This is our first summer running the Howdy! Farm and to keep us strong through our infancy we have implemented a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. For summer 2010 we will make 30 shares available at $150 a share. These shares are a membership in our organization and entitle the holder to 10 weekly parcels of mixed farm fresh produce grown with love and care.

The revenue from these shares goes to recouping the resources invested in the project (site preparation, tools, seeds, planning and labor) as well as employing competent student workers to build and manage our volunteer force. (more...)
