Last year was my first year and I was extremely satisfied. Everything from the produce, to packaging, communication, everything else....especially Sister Claire - ALL WAS GREAT! I wish I had Sister's passion and energy! (Sister can we order that in our boxes this year?)

The locallly grown food & the CSA are my favorite part about living in Batesville. The selection varies, but is always of good quality and fresh.

Do yourself- and your family- a favor and subscribe to this local, fresh and excellent source of vegetables and fruits. We have subscribed for several years and each year are more pleased with the selection and offerings of our weekly box of produce. Thanks to all involved- especially the growers and Sr. Claire!

I have been a member from the early days of this CSA. Each year I am more appreciative of the growers and everyone who makes it possible. The produce is always fresh and yummy. The pick up times are convenient and everyone is so friendly. I have learned to enjoy so many different vegetables. I am eagerly anticipating the new season! Can't say enough good things about Laughery Valey Growers. Sister Clare can't be beat--what a lovely person!

I completely agree with Deanna's review. All of the produce was of excellent quality and not only well packaged but the produce boxes were always stored at appropriate temperatures until they were picked up by the subscribers. I certainly tried some vegetables I wouldn't have tried otherwise, and thanks to Sister Claire's newsletters and recipies I never had a problem educating myself about the items and trying to figure out how to use them. I now crave some of these items I thought I wouldn't care for. I can't wait for the new season to begin!

LVG and the FarmFreshCSA are a great organization for southeastern Indiana. Last year was the first year I belonged. The vegetables and fruits provided were outstanding! My family was able to try things that I would not have ordinarily bought in the grocery, and it also provided items I could not get in my grocery. Everything was always fresh, packed well, and convenient. FarmFreshCSA is overseen by a fantastic lady who really knows her stuff and is extremely passionate about great organic food and sustainable living. The price I paid for a small share was very reasonable and totally worth it. My family is now eating healthier, we are eating less meat, and we are learning so much about what we can do to take care of our food supply and our environment. Belonging to a CSA started out being about food, but it has become so much more. Thanks Sister Claire and FarmFreshCSA!
