Wookey Ranch

Wookey Ranch raises delicious, all-natural, grass-fed lamb and chicken on the annual grasslands of the Northern Sacramento Valley. We use holistic grazing with long pasture recovery periods to increase the health and diversity of the land and to maintain the health and vitality of our animals. We work with the land and the seasons to produce the best-tasting meat in the most sustainable way we know how.

Our lambs and chickens are 100% antibiotic and hormone free. We grow them the way you expect them to be grown: on pasture, given high-quality food and water, with the freedom to move and behave naturally in a low-stress environment.

Our mild and delicate lamb is sold by the individual cuts at local farmer's markets and on the ranch. (more...)
