Anchor of Hope Ranch

We have a pasture-based diversified small farm just north of Prince Albert, SK, Canada. We raise chickens, ducks, quail, turkeys, sheep, goats, bees, and working dogs. We also have a market garden and raise vegetables and herbs. We don't use chemicals on our farm and we are instituting permaculture principles. The livestock manure fertilizes the crops which in turn provide healthy food for our family and others. We use companion planting and grow some crops to attract beneficial insects to deal with pests. We sell locally to those who want to know where their food comes from and that it is not grown with chemicals. As we are a grass-based operation, the meat chickens follow the grass season.
