The Rabbit Barn

The Rabbit Barn offers meat, fiber and pet rabbits. The meat rabbits are sold live or processed at our local processing USDA facility. At this facility, all meat is halaal approved. All packages are labeled as state requires. Your order is customized to help you get exactly what you are looking for. Most meat rabbit is New Zealand, California and Flemish Giant. Sometimes I will have chinchilla breeds, as well. I'm starting to offer pastured raised fryers, as well. The rabbits will be placed in pasture after nursing/weaning from their mother and be moved to greener pasture as it is eaten down. If you are interested in pastured rabbits, you'll have to place an order in advance, because I only raise pastured by order. Occasionally, the Rabbit Barn will offer fiber rabbits, mainly angoras. Other rabbits are bred and sold for puppy training. These are usually the Tn. Redbacks or Cottontails. We have just begun to offer ground rabbit meat for the BARF raw food diet for pets. Rabbit can be sold whole or ground for your pet's needs. The Rabbit barn offers breeding stock for all meat rabbits and offers rabbits for show and pet. The Rabbit Barn participates with the 4H program and works with children that want to learn more about rabbits. Pets offered are netherland dwarf, mini lops, mini rex, blue eye dwarfs, hotot's and other small breeds. Lastly, because nothing is wasted at our barn, the ones that don't make it are quickly frozen for reptile food. If you have reptiles of any size, I can help you feed them. Size ranges from pinkies to 15-20 pound rabbits. Speaking of nothing wasted, manure is for sale, nearly ALL THE TIME! It does have some hay mixed in with it and maybe some dropped food.
