Small flock of sheep, providing wool and meat.
Flock of chickens for eggs, and small-scale meat production on farm. Also have duck and goose eggs in Spring / Summer, with meat available to order.
Although not certified organic, the only poison used on the farm is fly pour-on as the natural deterrents do not work and the cows are miserable from biting flies. Antibiotics are only used when medically necessary, withdrawal periods are strictly adhered to, while natural remedies and aromatherapy are used as a first option.
Unsprayed apple juice is pressed in the Autumn in limited quantities.
New orchard is starting to fruit, with a berry garden and small vine section starting producing. Harvested our first hazelnut crop in 2021.
