Green Mead Farm

Green Mead Farm is growing a healthy cornucopia in northern Columbia County! We are a new small farm partnership, launched by two passionate and experienced organic producers, on the site of an old agricultural estate. We have expanded to approximately 8 acres of annual vegetable and flower production in fertile organic pasture land this season, with room to continue growing! Our animal population consists of a few dozen hens and ducks. Goats may be in the works soon too! We attend weekly markets in Delmar during the summer, and offer weekly CSA shares during winter season. This year, we held our first Farm Camp for local youth, to provide a brief immersion in sustainable agricultural lifestyles. Many exciting projects and developments are on the horizon.
