Liberty Farms LLC

Liberty Farms is located close to Portland right off Route 100 in Cumberland, Maine. The farm is planning the opening of large commercial green houses on 4 acres of its pastureland to enable us to grow produce year round to create a sustainable business. We will be installing raised beds to aide in the harvesting of our products and will be using traditional and organic growing methods in the greenhouse to ensure the quality and safety of our crops. Our first greenhouse will be installed as of March 2015 and the first crop will be in the ground no later than April 2015. We have employed returning veterans to install our greenhouses, plant and harvest our crops and have openings for internships for students and anyone else who wants to get involved in organic food production using the USDA GAP certification process as well as growing methods perfected by Eliot Coleman.
