R Farm of Northwest Ohio

The farm is alive with the sights and sounds of spring! All of the spring calves are here, and they're healthy and full of energy. They enjoy playing together, which provides quite a bit of entertainment for our family.

In the fields, the tile project is complete and planting is progressing nicely, including a section of non-GMO corn that will be used for cattle feed. Our next project is a pasture expansion, and that means adding fencing and planting a few acres for a hay crop.

Although the recent rains left things quite soggy, it's given us time to catch up on office work and prepare machinery so that it's ready to go when the ground is.
