Valley Pasture Farm is a diverse family farm that raises animals on, you guessed it, pasture! In September & October, we welcome thousands of visitors to our farm for Fall Fun, including a pick your own pumpkin patch, wagon rides, corn maze, spooky trail, and more! In 2019 we decided to change our single farm CSA model and help start, Local Choice Cooperative Producers. A multi-farm CSA cooperative offering veggies, fruit, meats, cheese, and more!
Our Story
After struggling with multiple food allergies and sensitivities with one of our 5 children, we decided to focus on raising our own food, our own way - produce without any synthetic pesticides or herbicides, animals without feeding corn or soy, and ensuring that only all-natural ingredients are put into any of our meats. In 2013, we were able to move from 5 acres to 76 acres and start raising food for our community as well.
If you are looking to feed your family amazing, all natural, "real" foods, then you'll love filling your freezer with our meats.
Why We Do What We Do
To feed our family and our community healthy, local, naturally raised foods that nourish our bodies and help reduce our carbon footprint
To provide our animals a life doing what they do best - enjoying the sunshine, wandering freely, & eating whatever they desire on our pastures
To help protect and promote heritage breeds of livestock that would have been found on our great-grandparent's farm, but are rare today
To share our passion for agriculture with the community, especially the children, by inviting them to visit our farm for a fun experience that will create lasting memories
By using sustainable farming methods, even on a small scale, we are able to help protect our environments and leave the land in better condition for our future generations.
You can find us at the Menomonie Farmers Market, visit our on-farm stand, or contact us for a private farm visit.
