It's convenient and has healthy food choices without you having to grow your own. In this economic downturn, it is a wonderful way to support local growers.

I love the idea of encouraging local, sustainable produce and "farmy" type products, like jams, salsas, honey, etc. And it's a lovely feeling to go out Sunday morning early and visit with buyers and sellers.

I love the Bowie Farmer's Market where the produce ( the fruits really special ) is beautiful and the flowers and plants are extraordinary and reasonably priced.... [more]
