Beaverton Farmers Market is the largest agricultural-only farmers market in the Northwest and features the region's finest agricultural products delivered morning-fresh and sold by the growers themselves. An average of 90 to 100 growers, plus live music, every Saturday.
Horribly expensive and patrons clog the library parking lot so those of us with kids can't park to use the library.
The market is trying to say that they are making a green movement by making vendors use "bio-degradable" packaging but it should be stated as compost-able plastics.... [more]
They bring in a lot of certified organic farmers from the area and quite a few local artisans too. It makes being a locavore very possible and quite easy because of their great selection from bread to veggies!
