Portland Farmers Market has been connecting consumers directly to local food producers since 1992. Our downtown weekly Saturday PSU Market runs from March to mid-December. It features over 200 different growers and artisan food preparers. We have additional markets on Wednesday in central downtown (10-2), on Thursday evenings in the Pearl District and Eastbank neighborhood (3:30-7:30) and on Sundays in the King neighborhood (10-2). Check our website for times, locations and directions. Each season, customers make over 535,000 trips to our five farmers markets to meet the faces behind their food and enjoy festivals, chef demonstrations, tasting events, book signings and programs such as courses on preserving and kids cooking classes. Many of our produce vendors are organic and all our meat vendors feature grass-fed or pasture-raised products. Other special vendors are fishermen, beekeepers, bakers, cheese-makers and creators of gourmet spices, sauces and ready-to-eat foods. We offer "Market Money" token service for debit, credit and Oregon Trail EBT program. Farm Direct Nutrition Program coupons (for WIC and senior participants) are also accepted.
