It is a VERY OLD market, dating back to the 1730's. The oldest market building in the country. Smells wonderful when you walk inside. You can find almost any kind of food you'd like for your recipes or for you to eat on the spot. Yummmm!!!

Lancaster is where I truly discovered the farmers market. I was use to living among big cities and never really saw a farmers market until moving to Lancaster for college. That's where I fell in love with farmers markets and haven't truly found a better one since.

Fresh local produce mostly grown by the large Mennonite/Amish community. It's fresh--it's local and it is a great experience!
