Pine. Mountain Homestead is nestled in the small town of Pine, CO at 8,500ft surrounded by serene nature. We thrive off compassionate care for our humanely raised goats, chickens, ducks and rabbits. We feed our herd and flock solely organic, non-GMO grains in addition to their free range forage. We offer raw goats milk herd shares, chicken and duck eggs, and will soon be offering meat rabbits. We sell baby chicks, baby ducks, baby rabbits, and occasionally our baby goats. We have a large array of heritage breeds including Oberhasli goats, Silver Fox Rabbits, Cayuga and Runner ducks, chickens - Phoenix, Sumatra, Egyptian. Fayoumis and several Bantams. We strive towards implementing more and more permaculture systems of natural farming and gardening, season extensions, Hugh altitude plant starts, internships, farm visits, homesteading classes, and so much more! Please pay us a visit next time you drive up 285!
