Tierra Madre Foods

Tierra Madre Foods (Mother Earth Foods) is the SPIN farm concept of Chef Chelsea Brannan. It is family owned and operated, small in size but big in love for good food! We utilize small plot intensive growing methods based in healthy organic soils and crop rotation. We grow a nice variety of heirloom vegetables, herbs and berries. Chef Chelsea grows some fun varieties to keep up with her never ending interest in the food world. Our pastured poultry lays a fun mix of brown, blue and green tinted eggs with gorgeous yolks that beat any commercially produce egg. This year we are establishing an aquaponics system, to grow more vegetables and develop the areas first aquaponic farm. Produce we grow is sold fresh at local markets, buyers clubs and restaurants. Chef Chelsea also sells ready to eat hot foods, preserved foods and bakery at the Viroqua Farmer's Market. She uses the farm produce for most of her ingredients and partners with other farmers for additional items. We are just a mile outside of Viroqua Wi, in the beautiful Driftless Region.
