The Grosse Ile Township Farmers' Market gives local grocery stores and crafters a once-a-month opportunity to sell their produce. It's a gathering place for the community to buy fresh food and even homemade honey from hives owned by an Island family. (Folks with allergies say it cures their allergic reaction and eagerly await the monthly sale of honey.) There's live music and cider and donuts for the shoppers.
