The Villages Grown

The Villages Grown is 9 acres of Controlled Environment Agriculture located in the heart of The Villages, Florida. The farm was founded in 2017 and features hydroponic greenhouses, a processing facility, retail outlets, agritourism experiences and offers year-round lettuce, microgreens, tomatoes and herbs. Situated on 84 acres it is positioned for continued growth for years to come.

Consistency is key! The growers and management team believe that consistency is what provides their chefs, retailers and home cooks with flavorful, aromatic and nutrient dense produce offered within 48 hours of harvest.

The Villages Grown is Global GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) certified, ensuring safe and pure products grown in a sustainable farming operation. Sustainability initiatives include compostable growing media; water conservation including the recycling of water and nutrients; utilization of beneficial insects to combat pests; utilization of organic products to combat disease; and ensuring that no contamination enters the local aquifers.
