Oasis Nature Farm

With the dream of turning desert into producing farmland, we use our lawn as experimental plots.The town of Prescott,WI has no rain about 2 months before harvest time, which placed big challenges to farmers and gardeners around. Yet this condition gives us chances to test methods for farming in arid areas. With the threats of global warming, shrinking of energy resources, and the limit of funding, We try to grow foods without all the convention means, finances,and water, hope to develop ways that can replace convention gardening and farming methods. In order to preserve ecosystem and supply safe habitats for living beings nearby, we do not till the ground. Fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides are not our options,too. The most vital part for this project is ,no irrigation at all. The place becomes more biologically diversified each year since we started this nature farming method.Every year we find different wild plants, animals,or fungi that could only be read about in the past. Everything we share with our customers is fresh and safe.
