Fair Winds Farm

We are a horse-powered Vermont family farm offering a variety of Pastured Protein Delights through our Farm Store. We raise chickens, sheep, goats and turkeys. Our store offers eggs, broilers and stewing hens; milk and chevon; lamb, hoggett and mutton; and holiday turkeys. Other hand made items such as raspberries, preserves and wood crafts are available seasonally. We offer yarn, sheep skins and maple syrup as well. Our animals are pastured/grass fed to the extent possible, given our climate and their needs. Sheep are 100% grass/hay fed, goats receive a small amount of supplement at milking time. Broilers, turkeys and some layers are pastured, receiving organic grain. Our farm is operated by 3 generations of farmers, and we are pleased to offer hayrides by sleigh or wagon by reservation almost any time of the year. We teach Draft Horse Workshops, giving interested folks the skills they need to get started with their own horse or team.
