G&C Organics was founded by Claiborne County Native, Anthony "Curtis" Davenport and his wife Gee. After spending over 35 years serving in the Marine Corps and in the private sector, they decided it was time to return to Anthony's home town in Port Gibson, Mississippi. One of the major challenges they found was the lack of high quality food produce. But having the Marine Corps attitude of conquer and improvisation, they decided to do what Anthony was doing when he left home in 1978. "Farming". The organic segment of the food industry has been growing strong and steady, therefore, G&C Organics core philosophy is good quality produce, at affordable prices. G&C Organics does not except the notion that good quality product should cost more. In fact, we believe it's the opposite, And we are determined to provide superior produce at reasonable prices. G&C Organics is the only Certified Naturally Grown AGri-Business in SW Mississippi.
