Benne's Best Meat

Benne's Best Meat is really a "farm in the city." One of the last farms in the area, the 127 acre farm is situated in the general vicinity of Hwy 40/64 and Hwy 94 in St. Charles County. Operated by Ron and Jolene Benne, the couple raise "natural" pork, beef and poultry without the use of sub-therapeutic antibiotics or artificial growth hormones. We also have a small selection of vegetables for the 2020 season. Some will be heirloom varieties. Heritage turkeys will also be available for Thanksgiving. The farm has been in Jolene's family for eight generations, since 1801. They direct market their meat , eggs and vegetables from the farm.

Schedule and Location:

Drop in and visit the farm. Our hours are 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Closed Tuesday and Sunday.

We have been going to Benne's for about 3 years now. I love their eggs, meat and poultry. We try to buy only grass-fed and free-range. This is a great place to go. They are close to us and Jolene and Ron are nice people.
