Our farm is Certified Organic and is located out on Sauvie Island. Since 2004 we have managed a farm that was just 1 acre at a point but continued to expand it so we could provide more vegetables for our customers. Our farm is now 2.25 acres and last year our farm produced over 12,000 pounds in vegetables. Our farm is used for dinners and tours often when we allow it. Last year the organization Plate & Pitch Fork took a tour on our farm and this year we are going to actually have the dinner featured on our farm as part of the fundraising. The FoodWorks farm has also had many internship job throughout the last 3 summers. For the year 2012 summer we have provided 3 internships. Our farm is a very welcoming secure place where we all can be ourselves and have fun raising our vegetables.
