Green Dirt Farm, LLC

Green Dirt Farm is a small community-based sheep farm and creamery located just north of Kansas City, Missouri. We are dedicated to producing the finest sheep's milk cheeses and 100% grass-fed lamb. Our sheep are raised without hormones, pesticides or antibiotics, on pasture using management-intensive grazing techniques, which provides our sheep with superior nutrition and protects our pasture plants from over-grazing. Green Dirt Farm has received the Animal Welfare Approved endorsement. This means that both our farm and our meat processor undergo a rigorous annual audit by the organization Animal Welfare Approved. They have determined that our farm and our meat processor uphold the highest standards of humane animal treatment.
