Guara Ki means "place of Earth spirit" in the language of the early peoples who first lived here. At Guara Ki, we work with nature in a collaborative way. We grow tropical fruit: Lychee (Mamoncillo chino), Mamey, Sugar Apple (Anon), Custard Apple (Chirimoya), Sapodilla (Nispero), Mango, Avocado (Aguacate), and Bananas. We are not open to the public (due to our size, not becuase we are snobby), but do sell to CSAs, Buyer Co-ops, and Farmers' Markets. Occasionally, we offer classes and workshops in ecological farming, lead explorations out into our bioregion, the Greater Everglades, via Earth Learning (www.earth-learning.org). We are, and encourage others to be, very active in creating a viable local foodshed and bringing about a sustainable South Florida!
