Niemela's Market Gardens is a family owned and operated market garden in Northern Baraga County, in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. We have been sowing seeds, hoeing weeds, and growing for market since 2008. While we are not certified organic, we do not use synthetic chemical fertilizers or pesticides, focusing on using compost and natural amendments to feed the soil, which in turn grows healthy produce.
