Grown fresh right here in Saint Petersburg, Florida, our microgreens absorb the power of the sun and turn it into high-powered food for your body. Microgreens are dense with nutrition--up to 5X higher than full-grown vegetables--and go perfectly in salads, in a smoothie, or on a sandwich. We are a local urban farm specializing in living, organically grown microgreens. Alive and growing until you harvest them in your own kitchen, they're the freshest, most nutritious, and most delicious microgreens you can buy. Our Farm We grow our microgreens in a greenhouse on wheels that allows our farm to be mobile. The mobile greenhouse is a box trailer that has been retrofitted with clear sides and a clear roof to let light in. Inside there are shelves on which our flats of microgreens grow in a rich organic soil. We control the temperature in the greenhouse with solar powered fans and shade cloth. Our mobile greenhouse is so easy to transport, we even bring it with us to farmer's markets! Our Farmer Aubrey Hanford has years of experience growing healthy fruits and vegetables, experience he uses to produce the finest microgreens available. He has been a speaker at local agriculture meetings, regional expos, and provides consultation services to other farmers and gardeners. Aubrey also specializes in hydroponic gardening, and is a founder of Hydro2Table, a nonprofit that installs hydroponic systems in community gardens.
