We are a family-owned and operated market garden in Llano, Texas, growing vegetables on .3 acres for the local community using organic, no-till practices. We add 2-3 inches of organic and locally sourced compost to the raised beds every winter. And heavily mulch the paths with locally-sourced organic wood chips and pecan shells. We utilize rainwater collection and permaculture practices for water conservation. We use buried drip irrigation to reduce surface water evaporation.
