Life Enrichment Sciences

Life Enrichment Sciences (LE Sciences) was started in November of 2012. After both being medically retired from their service in the U.S. Army, Benjamin Gorrell and Andrew Gardiner set out to continue serving... but in a different way. Focusing on the growing needs for healthier food and a more sustainable agricultural system, they began construction in February, 2013 of their 3000 sq/ft. greenhouse. Using a system known as aquaponics, both Ben and Andrew have since been growing open-pollinated, non-GMO, organic produce year-round in order to provide a healthier choice of living for Gloucester, VA and outlying areas. In March of 2014, LE Sciences also began selling their produce out of their year-round farmer's market store, Pure Harvest Market.
